Where It All Began
Kevin Kirkpatrick founded Avery Professional Group on a simple belief: physician recruitment should be personal, not transactional. Before starting the firm, Kevin held hospital leadership roles at St. Michael's Hospital, Peterborough Regional Health Centre and Humber River Hospital. In those roles he led physician workforce planning, recruitment strategy, retention and engagement.
That inside experience shapes how we work. We understand what hospitals need, what physicians weigh before a move, and what it takes for a placement to last.
Today, operating as docfinder.ca, we recruit for organizations across Canada and the United States. We have brought physicians from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand, as well as from within North America.
